Do Just One Thing

Danny Seo on

It's always a smart idea to check your home for radon gas. Radon is a colorless, odorless and radioactive gas that can pose serious health risks with long-term exposure. In fact, approximately 1 in 15 homes across the country are believed to have elevated radon levels. One of the best ways to monitor your home is with a digital radon detector -- and in many areas, you can borrow one for free. Check with your local public library, county health department or environmental agency to see if they offer radon detector loan programs or free testing kits.
