LOS ANGLES — Despite a new documentary centering on sexual assault allegations against Jared Leto, the actor — who denies all allegations against him — is not under investigation by Los Angeles police.

Such allegations against the Oscar winner, 54, made waves in June 2025 and again this week with the release of the BBC’s “Jared Leto: Hollywood’s Dark Secret,” in which four women accuse him of criminal sexual conduct between 2002 and 2016, when the girls were aged between 16 and 19.

The Thirty Seconds to Mars vocalist maintained his innocence Wednesday in a statement shared with the Daily News: “I have never sexually assaulted anyone in my entire life. These claims are absolutely and categorically false.”

There are no open LAPD cases involving Leto, and the department declined to file charges involving prior allegations against him, police sources told TMZ Thursday.

Though the department hasn’t located reports against the actor regarding allegations of sexual assault or sexual misconduct, LAPD is reportedly imploring any alleged victims to reach out to them.

The Daily News has also inquired with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department about whether the department is investigating any such allegations.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office told TMZ that it looked into an allegation in 2019, though there was not enough evidence to pursue it. The case also fell apart due to the alleged victim “being unavailable at the time.”

The documentary, which marked the first time all but one of the featured accusers had publicized their claims, also spotlit the allegations by another six women. Four of the women said they were teens when they received “strange and often very sexual phone calls” from Leto. A fifth woman reported the same, though she was not a teenager at the time.

DJ and music producer Allie Teilz alleged in 2025 — as she had in 2012 — that Leto “assaulted and traumatized” her when she was 17.

Weeks later, AirMail published the allegations of nine women claiming “sexual impropriety” by Leto, who “expressly denied” the claims.
